Each piece is made entirely by hand, so slight variations in shape, texture, and finish are part of what makes my jewelry one of a kind. Gemstones are natural materials and will vary in color, pattern, and tone from stone to stone. These differences are a feature, not a flaw.

Yes. All pieces are made with genuine gemstones, sourced locally whenever possible. Stone names reflect the gemstone type used. If you have a question about a specific stone in a listing, feel free to reach out before purchasing.

Please refer to the individual product listing for material details. The majority of my ear wires are sourced from Nunn Design, which are nickel-free, making them a safer option for people with mild metal sensitivities. 

Nunn Design uses base metals crafted from pewter or brass, which are then sealed with an initial plate of copper. They use a lead-free acid copper tank flash layer before applying precious metals, avoiding nickel entirely in the plating process. Ear wires are plated with 24k gold, .999 fine silver, or antique finishes, and are finished with a final water-based acrylic wax coating.  Nunn Design Process

Ready-made items are fulfilled and shipped within 1–2 business days. Made to Order items are fulfilled and shipped within 3–5 business days. Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday from Sparks, Nevada.

All orders ship via USPS:

• Free standard shipping on orders over $50
• USPS Priority Mail — available at checkout

Returns are accepted on unworn, unused items within 15 business days of receipt for a full refund. After 15 business days, store credit is offered.

Items must be in their original condition and original packaging. To start a return, email hello@elizabethbergesen.com for a Return Authorization number (RA#). Returns without an RA# will not be accepted. Items must be postmarked within 7 days of RA# issuance.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Sale items and gift cards are final sale.

To exchange an item, return it for a refund or store credit and place a new order.

Each piece is handmade and should be handled with care. General best practices: remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, or exercising; store pieces individually to prevent scratching; avoid prolonged exposure to perfume, lotions, or harsh chemicals.
